I grew up with a big family in the small town of Tallahassee, Florida playing sports, reading books, and enjoying the great outdoors. All of those things shape the writing, reporting, and thinking that goes into my professional work today.
After high school, I attended Florida State University, where I graduated with a B.A. in English: Editing, Writing, and Media. In 2015, I moved to New York City and earned my M.A. in Journalism. I relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 2019, where I currently reside.
Over the years, I have worked for local newspapers, prominent media outlets, burgeoning startups, global marketing companies, historic universities, and numerous online publications. The experience of interacting with hundreds of people from around the world at the top of their respective industries leaves me adept in multiple fields and comfortable learning new skills or adapting to unfamiliar environments.
From storytelling and blogging to photography and research, my passion for communication yields both delight and excellence in my craft. While I stay busy with a full-time role at Long Island University and several freelance jobs, I remain eager for more opportunities. Don’t hesitate to reach out.
